Tarkett Clerkenwell Showroom

Tarkett Atelier

Opening this summer

A destination for architects and professionals

We are pleased to announce that our new showroom, Tarkett Atelier, is opening at St John Street in Clerkenwell, London on the 7th of July at 9:30 am.

Designed in collaboration with the Stockholm-based Note Design Studio, Tarkett Atelier is not only a showroom but also a destination—a place for architects and professionals to be surprised and inspired by the many possibilities of Tarkett materials. Together with Note, we explored what can be done with our broad product portfolio, identifying the meeting points between functionality, aesthetics, and the Tarkett brand in the context of the UK-specific market.

Tarkett Atelier

We wanted this space to represent Tarkett – an innovative brand in which people, the planet and products connect – the new Tarkett UK Atelier should be the natural meeting point of all of these influences

Discover the Atelier

The new Tarkett Atelier is the ideal space to bring your ideas to life with its innovative design that features curved walls, a gallery space, and a curated material library. It offers an immersive and engaging experience while showcasing the natural beauty of Tarkett products through a minimalist showroom design.

From the very start, Note Design Studio aimed to fully utilise Tarkett's materials by blending soft aesthetics with the rationality of industrial components. The palette of strong brick red, calm beige, and vibrant blues perfectly complements Tarkett's Retrace, Lino Wall, iQ Granit, and Parade Excellent.

Working in collaboration, we carefully selected materials within the same tone to create a monochromatic look to highlight each material's quality, texture, and properties. iQ Granit for example will be used to clad a section of the showroom, adding materiality and texture that blends subtly into the back wall. The brick-red Fields flooring runs through all the rooms, and the orange features in lounge furniture, table tops, phone booths, and stools add more colour to the space.

Blue is the red thread of the whole design scheme, seen in details for handles and bespoke furniture. The bathrooms are light but immersive, with the entire space covered in iQ Surface to show the possibilities and expression of the material. Rouge Airy picks up the grey in the palette, and soft beige is used in the open space.

DESSO Origin Retrace

Made to be remade. As part of the Origin Collection, DESSO Retrace is a truly circular product, it was designed to be disassembled so its components can be easily recycled into raw materials for new carpet tiles.

LinoWall

The only linoleum approved for use on walls and featuring Bs2-d0 fire certification. Conceived for architects, this completely new collection majors on creativity and versatility.

iQ Granit

iQ Granit offers extreme durability as well as superior wear, stain and abrasion resistance for all heavy-traffic areas. No need for polish or wax, a simple dry-buffing is enough to restore this floor’s original appearance.
