Renovating the Blood Bank - creating spaces to empower

The Blood Bank's interior design refers to the circulatory system. The iQ Surface collection's homogeneous vinyl flooring with fine chips is thought to resemble blood cells and contrasting red welding rods imitate the arteries of the cardiovascular system. One of the rods leads us from the entrance to the Bank into its most important areas - the pneumatic tube and the blood storage room. The doors are also in red and stand out against the bright floor and wall coverings.

The design reflects the laboratory's innovative character and the cutting-edge technology it uses. However, while achieving the effect of sterility, the people who work 24-hour shifts in the Blood Bank were not forgotten. That's why we can also spot warm beige and peach-like colours, along with LVT vinyl planks in a wooden, home-like décor. Personnel can enjoy both professional research spaces and comfortable social areas.
