Sustainable flooring for hospitality
Like other industries, the hotel sector needs to limit its carbon emissions to align with the Paris Agreement; and the necessary efforts are substantial. A study from the Sustainable Hospitality Alliance shows that the hotel industry needs to reduce its carbon emissions by 66% per room by 2030 and 90% per room by 2050. To get there, there is a need to engage across the industry value chain and deeply root the concept of sustainability throughout all processes. Sustainable hotel design in new builds and retrofits involves creating and using more resource-efficient models of construction, operation, maintenance, renovation, and demolition of buildings. And we can help.
