DESSO Origins wins 'Product of the Year 2022' award
For the return of Mixology North, Tarkett hosted some of the Norths finest commercial architectural and design practices to celebrate the company’s success as finalists in two categories.
The Mixology North Awards are highly sought after, and so it is no surprise that the competition increases annually. Voted year-on-year as the biggest and best celebration for the industry, Mixology North attracts over 1400 of our industry's finest from A&D, D&B and end-users. These sell-out events are a must for those in the sector.
This year, Tarkett UK entered two categories and was successfully shortlisted as finalists in both the ‘Product of the Year’ and ‘Manufacturer of the Year’ categories.
Made to be Remade, DESSO Origin paves the way on the path to Net Zero
On December 1st, Tarkett's DESSO Origin carpet tile collection was announced the winner of the Mixology North awards.
Tarkett’s circular approach to carpet tiles enables us to take real steps to reduce the emission of greenhouse gases and carbon dioxide, a major contributor to global warming. Being the only carpet tile manufacturer in Europe with a closed-loop recycling system, we limit the use of virgin raw materials for new products and avoid common, carbon-emitting options such as incineration and landfill at the products end of life.
The Mixology North judges were impressed with the DESSO Origin collection's unique look that replicates the perfect imperfections of the natural world, as well as the collections sustainable features. DESSO Origin’s warmth, texture, tactility and commitment to environmental responsibility is what impressed the Mixology North judges.
Tarkett is thrilled to have the DESSO Origin collection named the winner of the Mixology North awards. This prestigious honour is a testament to the quality and innovation of Tarkett's products, and we are proud to offer our customers the best in design and sustainability.
Earlier this year, Tarkett UK also attended the Mixology awards in London where we were announced the winner in the Manufacturer of the Year category for our ambitious 2030 Climate Roadmap which aligns with the Paris Agreement.
