Absorption
A process in which a substance is taken up by, and remains in, a material
Acid
Opposite of Alkali. See pH
Acidification
Increased acidity in lakes, watercourses and soil due to the uptake by precipitation of Sulphur and nitrogen oxides from the air
Acoustic floorcovering
Floorcovering intended to reduce impact sound
Acrylate
Acrylate in its monomer form can be allergic
Additional moisture/strong>
Usually moisture taken by capillary action where concrete slabs are ground-supported
Additive
Substance added in small quantities
Aerobic
In the presence of oxygen
Aerosol

Compound of cork granules with a binder generally not derived from cork cells
