Ikea Kartal

IKEA, known for its affordable and easy to install furniture and home design, has a very high foot traffic in its retail stores. This is why IKEA Kartal chose Tarkett to install long-lasting and stylish floors.

Since 2008, IKEA, a Swedish-based multinational group and the world's largest furniture retailer, chose to collaborate with Tarkett. The first project was to install a total of 11,100 square meters of flooring in the new IKEA in Kartal, Turkey. They covered 10,000 square meters with iQ Granit (Tarkett’s homogeneous vinyl collection) and 1,100 square meters with iD Inspiration 70 (Tarkett’s luxury vinyl tiles collection).

iQ Granit and iD Inspiration 70 were selected because they offer:

- Extreme durability for heavy foot traffic
- Stain and abrasion resistance for all high-traffic areas
- Easy maintenance (a simple dry brushing with no need for polish)
- Many design and format possibilities

Furthermore, the style possibilities help create a positive brand image and an enjoyable customer experience.
