When you hear a word “office” you usually imagine a room with tables and chairs, computers, and racks for papers and folders. And these are standard associations. But what to do when you need to create not just an office design but a real home of beauty? That was the main question during the project of construction a headquarters for INGLOT (professional European brand of decorative cosmetics). The client wanted to unite in one building all the spheres of its business: office areas with conference hall and work spaces, educational rooms, beauty salon and a shop with cosmetics.

INGLOT is constantly growing company with big ambitions. And its office should have progressive design to look modern in years. And when you have such bold plans you think not only about a nice picture but also about durability. That’s why designers came to TED SHOWROOM, the distributor of Tarkett and Desso floor coverings in the Kaliningrad Region.

For the project were chosen Tarkett iQ Surface Homogeneous Vinyl and two collections of modular vinyl: iD Inspiration 40 and iD Inspiration 55. As INGLOT is the company operating on beauty&fashion market it’s necessary to show in headquarters’ design both: unique style and business approach. To implement designers’ ideas flooring in main office zones is made of modular vinyl collections iD Inspiration 40 and iD Inspiration 55. Using these collections has led to the right emphasis on the purpose of each space. Together with possibility to play with endless colour combinations and styles it gave as a result the total meet of the project design.

For the areas with strong traffic iQ Surface homogeneous vinyl with its resistance to scuffs, scratches and stains was chosen. It’s an indispensable collection when creating a cutting-edge space. Thanks to the verity of colours and outstanding characteristics it meets all the designers’ needs and made it possible to create a stylish fashion house.
