Supporting the healthcare community through the ‘Tarkett Human Conscious Design™ approach

For decades, Tarkett has been committed to developing innovative flooring solutions with people in mind: patients, medical staff, and cleaners.

Tarkett was the first flooring manufacturer to remove Phthalates from its collections, with
TVOCs 100 times lower than the strictest European standards.  Our Human Conscious Design ethos means we use healthy materials that make a positive contribution to people and the indoor environment.

Clean Hospitals and Tarkett: a collaborative approach to raise standards

We are also the only flooring manufacturer to be members of the Clean Hospitals Initiative, working to increase patient safety and bring international attention to the need for an increased focus on hospital environmental hygiene. Read more about this initiative here.
