Tarkett’s Renewed ProCure23 Supplier Status
We are proud to announce that Tarkett has been once again listed as an appointed supplier on the NHS ProCure23 (P23) Framework. We have been supporting the framework since its inception in 2016, and we are dedicated to researching, developing, and manufacturing flooring solutions that improve clinical outcomes and support staff, visitors, and patients. As healthcare environments continue to change, Tarkett remains committed to playing a crucial role in creating exceptional spaces that prioritise safety and sustainability.
About The P23 Framework
ProCure23 (P23) is a Construction Procurement Framework administered by the Department of Health to develop and deliver NHS and Social Care capital schemes and projects in the UK. This framework appoints suppliers to provide construction, design, and related services for NHS and other public healthcare projects. By streamlining the procurement process and improving efficiency in the delivery of healthcare facilities, the P23 Framework maximises value and generates savings for the public sector.
Simplifying the Process for NHS Partners
Tarkett's renewed status as a ProCure23 supplier offers significant benefits to NHS partners in the UK. This designation simplifies the procurement process, granting access to proven healthcare flooring solutions and inspiring confidence in Tarkett's expertise and dedication to the sector. The P23 Framework streamlines acquisition, enabling NHS organisations to efficiently obtain Tarkett's innovative products designed to meet the strict requirements of healthcare environments. Tarkett's wide range of vinyl, linoleum, and carpet options ensures optimal performance, durability, and compliance.
Designing for the Future of Healthcare
Tarkett flooring is widely used in the healthcare sector, with half of the hospitals in Europe equipped with our products. Our diverse portfolio includes vinyl, linoleum, safety, carpet, static conductive, wet room, wall coverings, and accessories, catering to all areas of healthcare facilities. We offer solutions that fit specific project needs, including CAPEX and OPEX options. Our priority is to maintain sterile medical environments, and our flooring and wall solutions are designed to be easy to clean and resistant to stains and chemicals.
In imaging areas, operating theatres, reception & common areas, products like iQ Granit and iQ Eminent offer exceptional performance, extreme durability, and superior resistance to wear, stains, and abrasions. Additionally, they require no polish or wax. A simple dry buffing restores the original appearance. In corridors, patient rooms, restaurants, canteens & cafeterias, products like ProtectWALL 1.5 and iQ Optima are great options. They are specifically designed for these demanding environments, providing high-performance protection against impacts, shocks, scratches, stains, and chemicals, and being easy to clean.
Working in Collaboration With P22 and AkzoNobel
Working in collaboration with P22 and AkzoNobel, we produced the Healthcare Colour Palette – an evidence-based selection tool that offers pre-selected and matched floor and wall combinations that have been approved by the Department of Health to support ProCure Designers. Supporting the Healthcare Community
At Tarkett, we support the healthcare community through our Tarkett Human-Conscious Design® approach. For decades, Tarkett has been committed to developing innovative flooring solutions with people in mind, including patients, medical staff, and cleaners. Tarkett was the first flooring manufacturer to remove phthalates from its collections, with TVOCs 100 times lower than the strictest European standards. Our Human Conscious Design ethos means we use healthy materials that have a positive impact on people and the indoor environment. Learn more about Human Conscious Design Principles.
By renewing the ProCure23 supplier status, Tarkett solidifies its position as a reliable partner, empowering NHS organisations to enhance their environments and deliver the highest standard of patient care across the UK.
