Wall-to-wall carpet is supplied in rolls of usually 4 meters wide. This provides a highly aesthetic, virtually seamless floor covering where the design options are endless. That is why hotels and cruise ships often opt for wall-to-wall carpet.

Tarkett has many designs in the range of the standard carpet collections. However, if you are looking for a specific patterned carpet or carpet with a specific print, Tarkett also has the option of choosing a custom carpet. We have both woven and printed custom carpets, which offer unprecedented design possibilities. We also have a Design Center in Waalwijk, a design laboratory and flexible production facility in one for the co-creation of customizable carpet tiles. Here you can combine colours and textures with our experienced design team to create your own unique floor covering. In addition to creating unique carpet tiles, we also offer the option of customizing a carpet to your liking. We only offer this service for rugs with a maximum width of 2 metres.

In order to develop high-quality and sustainable products, we at Tarkett have already designed products in such a way that they can be recycled with minimal effort. Tarkett is therefore also proud of its ReStart ® collection program and the recently opened Carpet Recycle Center. Recycling carpet tiles with EcoBase backings and ECONYL® yarn provides up to 84 percent  more CO2 savings compared to incineration. This groundbreaking development takes us one step further in the field of recycling and Tarkett is (proudly) contributing more and more to a sustainable, circular economy.

At Tarkett you are assured of the highest quality DESSO project carpet. But to choose the optimal carpet for your interior, you need to pay attention to several elements. Not all qualities will fit equally well in every interior.

A healthy indoor climate is important for the health and productivity of residents, employees, students and patients. The DESSO AirMaster carpet collections have been specially developed to reduce the amount of fine dust in a room and thus improve the indoor climate, productivity, health and well-being of the end users of a room.

Carpet generally reduces the impact of sound by between 20 and 30 decibels. In addition, almost all DESSO carpet tiles are available with a SoundMaster backing. With the SoundMaster backing, the sound quality and acoustics in rooms are further improved. DESSO SoundMaster achieves an improvement in sound absorption performance of up to +0.15 (αw)3, equivalent to an improvement of up to +100% compared to standard carpet designs (αw value between 0.15 and 0.20).

The wide choice of patterns and colours of our DESSO carpet is ideal for combining with other Tarkett floors. That way you can create creative and functional concepts for any room.
